Why do people start dancing? For many it's about the technique or the music, but the reason people stay is the community. In a world where we spend more and more time behind screens, the dance floor offers something unique: a place to land, to have physical contact and to belong to something bigger than yourself.

This picture is from last summer at I Love Kizomba Sensual Festival. It captures exactly what we're talking about – that happy tiredness after a class where strangers have become friends through dance. It doesn't matter where in the world we are; the community is the heart of everything we do at Movem.
