Many people wonder how we structure our Urbankiz classes. Our courses follow a clear pattern so you get the most out of your time on the dance floor:
1️⃣ Foundation & principles: We always start by laying a stable foundation. We go through techniques everyone can follow, explain the principles behind the movements and give perspective. There's plenty of time to try with different partners to find the right feeling.
2️⃣ Variation & styling: During the class we apply the basics with variations, musical adaptation and styling. We build the techniques into step combinations that can be varied endlessly!
3️⃣ The challenge: Towards the end we offer a real challenge that gives even the most experienced dancers something to sink their teeth into.
But don't worry – we take everything step by step, pedagogically and at a calm pace.
🎥 Film & repeat: At the end of the class you always get the chance to film the steps. We warmly recommend it, because knowledge and repetition go hand in hand!
