Urban Kizomba Charity for Ukraine - Workshop & Social with Mårten, Yana & DJ Teo

Movem Live are inviting you to join us on the evening of Wednesday 30th, in Solidarity with Ukriane. We develop our Urban Kiomba together during a progressive level Workshop and dance to tonights guest artist, DJ Teo live from Kyiv. Join our chill Urban Kizomba together at the chill place Eatery in Sundbyberg.

Social dance premiere in Eatery

We are super happy to invite you, for the first time, to a dance in the Eatery, a both stylish and cosy restaurant with cosmopolitan feel combined with the cozyness of a family restaurant. With special offers from the menu and in the bar you will be able to enjoy the time between your dances as well as the dances itself!

Workshop in Urban Kizomba by Mårten & Yana

Tonight's workshop will be done by Mårten Angner and Yana Mastylenko and as usual will start with improving some of basics. During the workshop the level will increase as we explore more and more exciting techniques, styling and partner work. The class ends with a challenge that will add extra spice to your dance. 

We always welcome dancers who are new to Kizomba as well as more advanced dancers as we share and help each other to develop our skills as a community! So, this is a great opportunity to bring your friend who has not yet taken the step to join our community! 

All ukrainians also welcome to join for free. Yana can translate to ukrainian if needed.

Urban Kizomba dance with DJ Teo 

As our DJ we will tonight meet the amazing DJ Teo, with us live from the besieged city of Kyiv in Ukraine. This artist is one of Ukraines absolute most appreciated DJs and there is virtually no Ukrainian dance festival without Teo on the banner! Teo has promised to take us on a journey with both the tracks we love and all new releases in Urban Kiz, Tarraxo, Ghetto Zouk, Kizomba, Semba and much much more! 

For this performance we will all hold our fingers crossed that the Internet from the Ukrainian capital will hold up for a live performance, but, Teo has prepared a mix for us if the technology will not stand by us tonight. 

Help DJ Teo help the defenders of Kyiv

All our ticket revenue will be sent without subtractions to Teos own help actions. As a personal initiative Teo collects money, shares his bank statement and every day he goes to the supermarket and buys exactly what is needed in the shelters and in the trenches , personally delivers the goods to the needed people! 

He also shares the receipts on Facebook to ensure that the whole sum given goes directly to the people in need. By doing this, the local business and supply lines will also get help in staying open to the troubling times.

We in Movem Love his work and feel great about teaming up for the greater good.

For you who can not attend in person an online attendance ticket is available. 

Discounts for couples and students are available. People with a Ukrainian passport have free admission to the event!
